About Song Swagger

Songswagger.com is a new music community site. The site is intended to give indie artists, songwriters, solo performers, bands, and poets, a way to promote their work and create a worldwide network of fans and peers. Fans will also have one of the best platforms on the web, with great features where the community can join in with other music lovers, to listen, and create radio stations, with the music they discover.

Dave and I are both songwriters and musicians, with decades banging around the music business. We have watched the music world change over the years we have been in the music world. We have, like so many others, taken to the Internet, as a way to let people hear what we write and perform. We are also fans. We wanted a clean and user-friendly site that offered the best tools and features available on the web.

We know what artists want in a social/promotional music site and we hope that we have provided all the tools, in the Songswagger.com platform, you need.

The Program we are using has the newest and most powerful tools on the Web - to get your music heard. We have purchased server space that allows a huge amount of bandwidth for commercial quality audio uploads in several formats, with a built in conversion program to convert audio files into compact MP3s. The video uploads can also be uploaded in several formats, as well. In addition, we offer both a digital store for video and music sales and personal site stores for hard goods. We have all the social site features and format-able themes of the popular social sites, including Blogs and a Forum.
Joining is free and allows for five mp3 uploads and two videos uploads, with sale ability, Forum access, photo uploads, customizing features, blog, and calender with public posting of gigs. The Gold Account allows all the same features plus 28 mp3 uploads, 10 video uploads, a digital and hard good store. The Platinum account has unlimited uploads and URL parenting for Labels, Associations, Guilds, and Management Groups.
