We are thrilled at the diversity of musical expression, from all over the world, that has shown up here at Song Swagger.com Dave and I listen to all of your work and we can't express how honored we are that you have taken your time, energy, and creativity and choose to put it here. We thank you all sincerly.
We are also thrilled to have a new Spoken Word Artist - Sheryl Stern join us. This art form has become so very inporatnt in the last years and we had hoped to see Spoken Word Artists using Song Swagger as a platform. There are a couple of things we envision happening. One :that Spoken Word Artist team up as lyricists to Composers on the site in colaberation. Two: that Artist that are Poets as well as Singer Songwriters take the opportunity to post some of their poetic works. There are very fine Poet /Songsmiths on the site already and I wonder if you all don't have some Spoken Word pieces you would like to present.
Any one wanting to write an article on any thing on Songwriting, Recording, Creative process, or on Equipment and Gear - please send it to me. 900 to 1100 words - we will post it here on the Home Page (No shyness needed - I can help you with the article.) and if its a good one we will post it over at Songwritersmarketplace.com This is a good way for us to brag on you, link to your page, and give you a lot more exposure. ken@songswagger.com
I will poet some of mine own poetry in the future - look for them on my pages.

Hi all!
Just a note - be sure to upload a photo with your songs and videos. The rating system will count the number of plays but all the other rating elements need to have an image and a song/video together to work properly - to show up in the category pages. We wanna see you all over the site!!!
Thanks
It's your music!

To all!
We have put in a video embed feature. It's a little glitchy! We are working on stabilizing it - we will get it fixed. If you have lost a video -sorry! It may work fine for you - if not we will have it up and running real soon!
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi all,
I was just reading in a local mag about all the events in town. So... I was thinking it would be a great idea to write articles here, on the front page, about anything special that is happening to members on the site. You can post your Gigs on your page, but a lot happens that no one knows about that may be of interest to your fans, the listeners, and other artists. Maybe an award or a special show that could use a tittle more attention. Let me know, send me details, a few pics and I'll write something up - and feature it here on the front page - put a little swagger on!
It's you music!

Hi ya all!
We just applied a new feature. Please notice that when you upload songs or videos that the site will accept quite a number of formats - when you load, the site will convert the file to a smaller format on your page.

Take the time to go into your Profile and color customize your page. There are a lot of features on the site tucked away here and there. Do a little exploring and see what you can do.

Hi all, When you load your video from YouTube.com be sure to put the embed code in the Video Embed box. If you put it in the Caption box it will load but won't display correctly. Also be sure to upload your mp3s and your videos with an image - the Home page highlights show that image. Thanks have fun! Ken and Dave
